1) Adam Page vs. Matt Sydal
The Decade has admittingly lost some steam in 2015 however they would prove to gain it back here. Not only did Page put on a GREAT match with Sydal, he also made a huge statement afterwards. I'm getting ahead of myself so let's head back to the start of this thing. Page hit a flurry of stuff early on including his signature shooting star press off the apron which allowed him to maintain an advantage over Sydal. Page begans basically just tossing and throwing Sydal around in the ring. Page goes for an overhead toss again, but Sydal reversed somehow and planted Page's head into the mat. Sydal's comeback begins with leg lariats and kicks. Page sends Sydal into the ropes and pops him up, SYDAL COUNTERS WITH THE METEORA IN MID AIR FOR A NEARFALL! Sydal goes up for the shooting star press and Page floats to the outside. Sydal climbs down and goes for a dive, Page slingshots himself over the top rope, LARIAAAATTT! Page turned Sydal inside OUT! Page gets a nearfall off of it only to fall to the Shooting Star Press soon after.
Match rating - ***1/4
After the match, The Decade's assault on Sydal begins. ACH runs in only to get beaten on as well. They bring chairs in the ring and Page spikes Sydal headfirst into a pile of chairs! Brutal spot that brought a lot of much needed attention back on Adam Page. He faces ACH in a No DQ Match at Death Before Dishonor.
2) Silas Young vs. Will Ferrara
The Last Real Man clashes with the hometown boy and it's a pretty fun contest. This would prove to be a shocking one as well though. Silas & Ferrara traded momentum throughout this back & forth contest only for a DDT in the corner to change things completely. Silas gets control and looks to finish off Ferrara when Dalton Castle's "boys" hit the ring and Silas is immediately distracted. This allows Ferrara to roll up Silas for a quick victory. Silas snaps and hits one of the boys then viciously DDT's and hits his finisher on the other one. I'm glad Silas is back in a storyline like this.
Match rating - **3/4
3) Jay Lethal vs. Mark Briscoe - ROH World Television Title Match
Roderick Strong is on commentary for Lethal's first title defense since becoming a double champion. I must also note that this is solely for the TV Title and not the World Title. This match was action packed and loaded with interference. First it was Truth Martini going to hit Briscoe with the book of truth which led to ODB running down. Then, J Diesel hit the ring only to be taken out by Mark Briscoe. Moments later, Dijak ran down and was met by Jay Briscoe which led to a huge brawl. This was completely wild with Lethal going for the Lethal Injection and Mark countering it with a german suplex. Then once all the brawling started with Jay & Dijak, Lethal went for a dive and it ended up nailing ODB. More help from The House of Truth allows Jay to finally hit Lethal Injection and pin Mark to retain the TV Title.
Post match, Jay Lethal is stomping Mark Briscoe when Jay hits the ring for an epic staredown that leads to them trading blows. Diesel & Dijak turn the odds back in Lethal's favor which leads to Roddy coming in from the commentary booth and cleaning house with chops. Lethal runs from Roddy and Diesel & Dijak soon follow. Roddy grabs the mic and asks Lethal where he's going. Next week is the 200th episode of ROH TV and they set up a big eight person tag match with Roddy, The Briscoes, & ODB against the entire House of Truth. This was a hype closing segment. Lethal's title reign has made for some of the best ROH TV segments in recent memory.
Overall thoughts: Another quality episode of Ring of Honor Television that mixed good wrestling along with awesome WWE-esque segments and storyline progression. I love how they're using the TV show to build Death Before Dishonor, the next big ROH event that will be on iPPV, despite it not being available nationwide. They don't typically do it, but I think it's a great idea because it's gotten me extremely excited for the event. There's not much else I can say, check this out if you get the chance.
