Kyle O'Reilly opens the show with a pre-taped promo. Having watched him essentially from the start of his rise in 2011 to now, he's improved leaps & bounds in the ring obviously, but he's also been slowly taking steps toward being a better talker. This was another example of this as it's definitely one of his better promos. He hypes the main event even more. I had forgot about it, but NOW I'M SO HYPED AND CAN'T WAIT.
TONIGHT: AJ Styles vs. Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly
Mark Briscoe is joining Nigel McGuinness & Kevin Kelly for commentary tonight. Steve Corino is still out after snapping on BJ Whitmer a few weeks ago.
1) The Young Bucks vs. Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser (w/ The Boys)
This is an odd match. I love The Bucks & Silas so it's gonna be cool seeing them work together for what I believe is the first time. THE BOYS are dressed in tank tops and sunglasses. I guess that's the outfit of a real man? Matt gets isolated by Silas & Bruiser. BCB has the utter audacity to pull a page out of Big KEv's book with the runniing flip into the corner. Nick eventually gets the hot tag and I mean, HOT. This crowd is so hyped for The Bucks as usual. Nick cleans house before he's caught off guard by Silas. The Last Real Man perches himself on his head in the corner for his unique finisher and SUPERKICK! FUCK! The Bucks clean out the Brusier and they have this place rocking. Silas gets on the mic and says this match was originally supposed to be The Boys against "The Young Punks" and that he & Bruiser are done with it. Cliffhanger headed into the commercial break. We return to The Boys taking the place of Silas & Brusier just as he said. Matt takes out one of the boys. Nick gets in with the other boy. Silas grabs his leg and he ends up superkicking him on the apron along with the Brusier. The Bucks bust out some double team stuff and keep working him over. FIFTEEN PERCENT. The Bucks miscommunicate and THE BOYS MOUNT SOME OFFENSE! Dropkick off the top, double hurricanrana, and SUPERKICK. Well, the boys tried. Bucks go through their stuff and win with More Bang.

Silas & Beer City Bruiser go after The Boys following the loss. The Bucks get back in the ring and superkick BCB. Silas escapes before he got a superkick of his own. I'm dying for a Bucks/Castle trios match now. The thought of the matching ring gear they could come up with has me sold completely on the idea.
Back from commercial, BJ Whitmer is causing an issue at the commentary table. McGuinness is out of his seat. Mark Briscoe gets up as well. They replay the incident with Corino from a few weeks ago and Kevin Kelly goes into the "lawsuit" from Veda Scott against ROH. Whitmer has now exited the ringside area. Nigel says ROH did nothing wrong and that they will come out on top. ROD DOG is in action next!
2) Roderick Strong vs. Will Ferrara
Roddy is the new #1 Contender to the Television Title as we learned last week. This will be a nice warm up for him heading into the match although I'd never count out Ferrara. He's had several solid performances this year. Roddy took the fight to him right off the bat with chops, but Ferrara hung in there for several minutes and delivered a good performance. They did just enough here to keep Roddy looking strong (no pun intended) while also giving Ferrara a few pop worthy moments. A sweet exchange on the outside saw Ferrara escape the deadlift throw into the apron and hit a swinging DDT to the floor. In the end, Roddy would lock the young up and comer in the strong hold thus forcing him to tap. That hold is so vicious with the way he applies it.

3) AJ Styles vs. Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly
The Young Bucks, Michael Elgin, Bobby Fish, & The Kingdom were all originally at ringside for this match. Nigel makes them all leave so we get a clean finish. The bell rings, Kyle & AJ shake hands and Cole retreats to the outside. The action gets pretty heated fairly quickly. These three basically just go through all of their respective signatures with a few spots mixed in such as Kyle monkey flipping AJ into a superkick from Cole. There was no real story or flow in this match aside from the backstory heading into it so this was basically a spotfest and a fun one, of course. The finish ends up being kind of awkward or maybe it was just me, but it took a second to catch on. Styles goes for a bodyslam, Kyle reverses into a triangle choke only for Styles to lift him up for a Styles Clash and SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD FROM COLE. Styles collapses so TECHNICALLY, Kyle got hit with the clash? Cole lifts up O'Reilly and nails him with the neck breaker on the knee and gets the three count.
Match rating - ***
All hell breaks loose post match with all the aformentioned names re-emerging. Jay Lethal was on commentary so he & the #1 Contender AJ Styles have a staredown to close the show after Bullet Club cleaned house on everyone.
