The Quick Six consists of six question mini interviews with pro wrestlers from around the world. A fast series meant to be a quick and enjoyable read. Full of relevant and fun questions from “where do did you get your start in pro wrestling?” to “if you could beat up a celebrity and get away with it, who would it be?” and everything in between.
Welcome to the Quick Six Interviews.
Our first guest is the Caramel Colossus, leader of the #NahFam Movement, Mr. Barrington Hughes.
Now let’s get into some questions!
Q: What is on the agenda of the Colossus this year?
A: The agenda this year is just like last year. Travel the world, compete against the best wrestlers and raise my stock in the eyes of the fans.
Q: Let’s say you have to represent for the big boys in a tag team. If you could pick one super heavyweight throughout pro wrestling history for a massive man tag team, who would it be?
A: This is a tough question. It's a tie breaker between Great Kokina (pre-WWE ﹰYokozuna) or Gary Albright.
Q: If you had to be a part of a 1990’s pro wrestling faction, which one would you choose and why?
A: Just one? I'd choose Harlem Heat. Adding a third member when they had Rob Parker and Sister Sherri would have been really dope.
Q: If you were stranded on an island with no other inhabitants and could choose one food item and one PPV tape to watch until you were rescued, what would your picks be?
A: Medium steak and Wrestle Kingdom 11.
Q: Two part question. What is your favorite match you’ve wrestled thus far and what is your all time dream match? (Yourself included in the dream match)
A: My favorite match to date was myself and Tommy Dreamer vs. The Hart Foundation (Davey Boy Smith, Jr. And Brian Pillman Jr.) All-time dream match is Me vs. Low-Ki.
Q: You’re heading into Breaking Hearts as Full Throttle Heavyweight Champion. Are you worried at all about facing Rob Terry considering he’s the only man you hold losses to in FTPW?
A: Unfortunately, this match won't be happening, at least not on February 9th. Circumstances beyond our control resulted in the event being rescheduled. But when we do, there won't be the same result. I have everything to lose. I took him lightly the first time I faced him and I wasn't focused on tag team success the second time. This time, I come in with champions advantage AND I may have a gift for our Welsh friend.
Thank you for taking the time to be a part of the Quick Six on Pro Wrestling Truth and good luck at Breaking Hearts!Barrington HughesInstagram: @therealhughesypooTwitter: @HughesyPooInterview conducted by Donnie Phipps.Instagram: @donniexrosesTwitter: @donnie2sweet
