Even before the signature opening video package, we see The Pinnacle rolling out of their limousine outside of the arena and JR says "BUSINESS IS ABOUT TO PICK UP!"
The show begins with Matt Hardy in the ring with Jack Evans & Angelico.. what a sentence. He talks some shit to Christian and we go straight into our first match of the night.
1) Christian Cage vs. Angelico (w/ Jack Evans & Matt Hardy)
This is fine. Christian’s selling of the arm Angelico does some work on is superb. Angelico manages not to fuck anything up here and Christian sells for his limb work. Christian mounts his comeback with a flying headbutt for a near fall before eventually hitting the kill switch for the pin.
Match rating - **
Jack Evans hits the ring post match, Christian fights him off, but Matt Hardy is waiting for him. TWIST OF FATE TO CHRISTIAN. Jungle Boy runs in to check on Christian whilst Hardy and company scatter.

Cody Rhodes is out next to bring out aNOTHER member of his ~fAmIlY~ because EEEEEVERYONE LOVES THIS SHIT RIGHT. This time, it's Arn Anderson's son Brock who looks like he's going to a frat party. QT Marshall comes out and challenges Cody to a SOUTH BEACH STRAP MATCH on July 7th at "Road Rager" - the first live Dynamite back on the road. Cody accepts because he loves straps and mimicking all those old gimmick matches so of course! And guess what? Anthony Ogogo was nowhere to be seen here and we are back pedaling to Cody/QT, a feud that should have been way hotter and handled way different than it has been and is now being stretched out way longer than it should be. Not that I'm upset because I could care less about QT Marshall, but man... this shit sucks. Next week Cody & Brock team up to face Marshall & Aaron Solow. End my suffering.
2) The Young Bucks & Brandon Cutler vs. Penta El Zero Miedo, PAC, & Eddie Kingston

On the “Road to Dynamite” YouTube package, Kingston cut a phenomenal promo that really should have made television in some form.. like it’s so fucking good and made this simple TV trios match feel like a PPV main event level of importance. It seems as if Eddie and Penta have made amends, but PAC is only tolerating Eddie, even refusing to tag him in early on in the match. Cutler gets his ass handed to him here and it’s great. The Bucks use him as a means to hit sneaky shit to regain control when it appears the faces (?) are hitting a stride. Just great rudo work from the Bucks per usual and fantastic fire from Eddie working the apron and throwing a chair in the ring out of frustration when the Bucks both get involved using an unfair advantage to gain control of things. Shit breaks down and we get a little more drama down the stretch than I expected. Kingston & PAC put their issues aside and hit a TANDEM TOPE SUICIDA TO THE FLOOR! That rocked. Cutler blows his big spot and it causes the downfall of the whole thing for his team. Spinning back fist from Kingston to Cutler and PAC gets the pin.
Match rating - ***1/4
Post match, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows run down. Frankie Kazarian comes out to even the odds. He clears house and celebrates with Kingston, Penta, & PAC.
A video airs courtesy of Don Callis & Kenny Omega changing the narrative of the title victory at Double or Nothing making it look like fans were happy with the outcome with fake captions of “Thank you Don” when he handed Kenny the belt to use and stuff LMAO.
The Pinnacle is here. They basically do what Inner Circle did last week, everyone gets promo time to address who their feuding with from the opposing group. Everyone accepts their challenges except MJF who redirects his attention from Jericho to Sammy Guevara. Meanwhile.. Chris Jericho appears on the tron. He’s in the parking lot with the rest of the Inner Circle. They destroy the Pinnacle’s limo with bats and spray paint before Jake Hager caps it off by bringing the fork lift out. God almighty.
In a pre-tape, Darby tells Sting to stay home next week because he isn’t replacing him and finding a tag partner.. he’s going to face Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky alone in a handicap match. Sting hesitates but eventually agrees if it’s what Darby really wants.
3) Miro (c) vs. Evil Uno - TNT Title Match
I think everyone knew the outcome of this match. It was never really in doubt, but they did a good job in the hype package of making it feel important and sliiiightly possible. Uno is the latest Dark Order member attempting to bring the TNT Title back to the stable in honor of the late Brodie Lee. This is also Uno's first singles match on Dynamite. He puts in a great effort for what it's worth and he & Miro put on a solid back & forth contest. When Uno built some momentum during his comeback, the rest of the Dark Order came out on the stage to cheer him on which was a nice touch and made things feel uncertain, even if just for a minute or two. In the end, Miro forces Uno to tap in front of his stablemates to retain the TNT Title.

Kenny Omega & Don Callis are out next. Omega says he's supposed to be out here to sell the championship match against Jungle Boy on the 26th, but he can't find anything negative to say about him. He says he sees a bit of himself in Jungle Boy, but that he's missing something - guts. And out comes Jungle Boy who Omega mocks for his lack of promos saying "I'm shocked you're out here, you're not really a promo guy". Omega antagonizes him and it's good stuff to establish the dynamic between the two. Jungle Boy says Omega talks too much and Omega swings on him only to get pulled to the mat and locked into the snare trap. The Young Bucks run down for the save.
Backstage, Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky react to Darby’s decision for a handicap match. They say they are gonna step over his body and move on up because it’s only up from here for the Men of The Year.
4) Lance Archer vs. Chandler Hopkins
Lance Archer demolishes a local competitor in under a minute.
Backstage, Ryan Nemeth, Peter Avalon, Cezar Bononi, & JD Drake invite Orange Cassidy to join up with them for a “wingman makeover” or else Bononi well beat his ass or something. Where did this come from? Sorta funny though.
5) Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero) vs. Leyla Hirsch
First time we’ve seen Leyla in a while, Vickie & Nyla have a stool on the entrance ramp as a way of making fun of Leyla’s height. Nyla floors her at first, but Leyla mounts a nice comeback and before you know it she gets a near fall of two off a German suplex and a step up moonsault. Nyla wins when all is said and done, though. This did its job.
Match rating - **1/4
Britt Baker & Rebel are backstage with Tony Schiavone and says Nyla looked real nice flipping those burgers during her celebration last week and that she should stick to that full time. JESUS CHRIST. She says every “bitch” in the locker room is jealous for her. She says the women’s title made Nyla, but Britt? She makes the title. Awesome stuff here AS USUAL from our women’s champion.
Next week: Wardlow vs. Hager in the “MMA Cage Fight”, Darby vs. Page & Scorpio Sky, Orange Cassidy vs. Cezar Bononi, and Eddie Kingston, Penta, & Kazarian vs. Matt Jackson & The Good Brothers.
6) Brian Cage & Powerhouse Will Hobbs vs. Hangman Adam Page & 10
I truly never expected this Cage/Hangman program to produce such consistently great matches, but it fucking has. In fact, there hasn't been a bad segment or match in the whole story. After tearing the house down 2 weeks prior to this at Double or Nothing, Cage teams with Team Taz stablemate Hobbs and Page teams with his Dark Order friend 10 to clash yet again. And much like their singles match, everything here clicked and everything here was stiff. Hobbs and 10 were perfect additions and more than held up their end of things. Just a heavy hitting, high impact main event and the best match on this show! Some nice false finishes down the stretch. Ricky Starks is at ringside and threw Cage the title to use yet again, but just like at the PPV - he refuses. Starks then SLAPS CAGE. An infuriated Cage chases Starks to the back leaving Hobbs to fight alone. He does well for a second, even getting a nearfall. However, the numbers are too much. Page hits the Buckshot lariat and 10 goes for the pin and that is all she wrote.
